Biography

When the words get conflicted, and the ways to communicate become difficult to access .. music starts to play on human hearts and gather peace lovers. Muath Faraj was born in a village in the outskirts of Damascus, the first of October 1993 in a poetry-loving family. He began writing poetry from a young age. Muath participated in concerts and recordings while at school, and when he travelled to stay in the United States in 2008, Muath started recording music in his own room in 2011. In 2013, Muath debuted his album "A tear & hope" produced by Nagham Media. The album included 6 songs which discuss various topics touching the Arab and Syrian street. He wrote two songs in the album and composed two others. Muath wanted for this album to highlight the suffering of the Syrian people and to be hope for a better future. The hit song for this album was “Ah Ya Soory” and “Ghayeb”. In 2014, he wanted to experience singing in English, so he made the song “The Light will come - Sayasha’ Noor” which was well received by his fans, then he made a cover song for “The Story of My Life” by One Direction. Muath Faraj believes that the secret of success for any human being is to make effort, persist and continue that till one achieves all their goals. He admits that people’s love and support is the most important reason for his continuing development in his wok to meet their expectations.
