Sherif Abdelmeged (B. October, in Cairo) is an Egyptian Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter. known for his bluesy sound. He plays a powerful and inspired mix of Contemporary Blues, Lo-fi/Soul, and Alternative Rock. Sherif first picked up a guitar at the age of 18, playing with many musicians and bands. He is heavily influenced by electric blues/rock music. Sherif formed his very first band in Egypt, back in 2008. The band played few shows and tried to record their original songs. after a long pause, Sherif went solo and presented himself as an independent artist. Released few self-produced singles in 2018, a new single Mathabetsh in 2019, lately couple of singles in 2020, and an Acoustic collection for songs like Wist Elzeham (Acoustic), Ghareeb, and Estihala - Live Acoustic. Lately Sherif moved into more of hard-hitting vibe and neo-soul guitar direction. His latest collab with Mai Kamal got featured on NRJ Egypt radio and Al Arabiya tv. He also wrote the original score for many short films and Mixed various artists (Albums/Singles), As well as Co-wrote/produced the intro theme for The 2017 PSA Men's World Squash Championship. and the campaign song Sabah Elkheer for Misr El Kheir Foundation 2020.
