Underground Kingz is the fifth studio album by American hip hop duo UGK. It was released on August 7, 2007, by Jive Records. The collaborations was listing on the album from Z-Ro, T.I., Talib Kweli, Rick Ross, Jazze Pha, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Slim Thug, Dizzee Rascal, Too Short, Charlie Wilson, Middle Fingaz, Outkast and Three 6 Mafia, among others. The production on the album was handled mainly from Pimp C himself, along with N.O. Joe, Lil Jon, Jazze Pha, Swizz Beatz, DJ Paul, Juicy J, Scarface and Marley Marl, among others. The album was the first by the group, since Pimp C was released and finished from serving a lengthy prison term. After the album's release, it signify as the final performance by rapper from the duo Pimp C, before his untimely death on December 4, 2007 in Los Angeles, California. The album debuted number one on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of 156,000 copies in the United States. As of 2011, the album has sold 498,454 copies in the United States.
