Music has become a part of our lives indefinitely. As for Dwayne Edwards, growing up, he got attached to Hip Hop/Rap culture after hearing the record "Wanksta", being the first Rap song that caught his attention at the time, it lead him on his search to find out who that artist was. From that moment he garnered interest in the Hip Hop/Rap culture. listening to 2Pac extensively and listing him as one of his top 5 artist to listen to also listening to Rakim, Nas and Big L in recent years and being really impressed with Rakim. Another early influence for young Jae R. Royal was June Haze, as far back as he could remember, he has always been encouraged by him, "real genuine dude and i find his music impeccable". With hopes of making music that will stand out and transcend, you can definitely hear passion in his vocals and how he delivers his art. "As artist sometimes we write our pains or air our thought out on a record and at the end of the day, most can relate or it may even help quell some frustration or even bring light to a situation someone else might be feeling or going through at any specific situation". QUOTES "The desire to find peace or peace of mind. A vision-less mind can never see from what passion derives. Our hearts grieve knowing they’ll probably never understand it". "I’ve been climbing up this ladder with lose steps and my crew next, visualizing greatness for my people way before any amount of opportunity came knocking at that door." - Jae R. Royal Lets Grow!!
