Biography
Born in Western Australia to Creole-Mauritian parents, for as long as Fave could remember music has been an integral part of his upbringing. Following in the footsteps of his father, a blues guitarist, at age ten, Fave started playing his father’s guitar and learned to play the Euphonium. He joined his local neighborhood brass band in the bass section on the Euphonium, which taught him musical arrangement and composition and began writing his own songs in high school. Fave played the live music scene in Perth as part of the roots/soul band “The Eclectic” prior to relocating to Dubai ten years ago to cultivate his music career and pursue travel. In 2012, Fave collaborated with Sonny Fodera and Ron E. Jones on the soulful house tune “Lose Myself” released on SHE Recordings, Sydney. Shortly thereafter, Fave debuted as a songwriter, collaborating with Sonny Fodera on the track, “Into My Mind” released on Miguel Migs’ SALTED MUSIC label in 2013. Fave then wrote and collaborated on the tune “This Time” with Ron E. Jones and Tom Diesel which was signed by Discopolis Recordings and Hed Kandi resulting in the Traxsource No. 1 remix by house music legend Richard Earnshaw. Since relocating to Dubai, Fave has performed at a number of events and venues across the UAE including, Fashion Forward, Arab Fashion Week Dubai and Formula 1 Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi. When he is not in the studio, Fave plays at Dubai’s leading venues with his guitar, loop station and drum machine bringing his soulful loop show to the night scene. Based out of his Dubai studio by day, Fave has been at work on his first solo project set to hit the airwaves. In October 2019, Fave will debut his first of five singles with the release of “Save The Day.” Written and produced by Fave himself, “Save The Day” is a blend of the electro-soul sound he has crafted in the studio and on stage.
