الحلقة الثالثة: مكتبة سانت غال

قرر الامبراطور البيزنطي قسطنطين الأول إنشاء مكتبة عامة في القرن الرابع الميلادي فأمر بجمع النصوص الدينية والأدب الكلاسيكي فبلغ عدد الكتب والمجلدات سبعة آلآف كتاب ومجلد ساهم بذلك في الحفاظ على الكتب والمعارف الاغريقية واليونانية القديمة لأكثر من ألف عام. 

آشور بانيبال أحد أعظم أباطرة العالم القديم وأكثرهم تحضر وثقافة وقرر إنشاء آشور بانيبال مبنى للمعارف فكان تأسيس أول مكتبة في التاريخ البشري في القرن السابع قبل الميلاد والتي تمثل تراث مابين النهرين.
