Jesus knew we would have troubles in this life. He knew we would not always be celebrated for following Him. There are many followers of Jesus who have given their lives to follow Jesus. May we have courage and strength to stand for Him, even when others don't. 

Do you know what it means to be a peacemaker? Jesus calls us to be bearers of peace, and we can only do that as we carry His peace within us. 

John 4:46-53. What is it going to take for you to believe? For many, it takes a sign. Something they can visually see or hear with their own ears. Jesus teaches that we must believe, that means have faith in Him. 

This episode addresses faith in a story about Jesus healing a blind man in Matthew Chapter 9. In the Gospels, the word “faith” and specifically "having faith and trust in Jesus" really has a specific meaning.

Matthew 7:21-23. If you have works, but no faith in Jesus, you have nothing. The people Jesus talked about in these verses had works enough to go around. But they had no faith. Had they had faith, they would have been sure they were following the will of God for their lives.
