Today, we bring you two Quran stories from Surah Al-Baqarah! These are not directly mentioned in the Surah, but they will help you understand the Quran. We put this fantastic story collection together from the tafsir sessions of QuranGarden. 

Ayah  In his exhaustive study of Surat Al-Baqarah, Nouman Ali Khan reflects on the second and longest chapter of the Quran. He explores how Allah, in his own words, answers some of the most compelling questions being asked about Islam today by both Muslims and non-Muslims. 

Todd Lawson is Associate Professor of Islamic Thought at the University of Toronto. He teaches courses on the Qur'an, Sufism, Shi'i Islam and related topics. His most recent book is Gnostic Apocalypse and Islam. He is now writing a book on the Qur'an as sacred epic.
